Im Herzen von Aarburg, wo Geschichte auf Moderne trifft, erstrahlt Hillside, ein herausragendes Architekturerlebnis, wo Licht, Raum und Ausblick zu einem einzigartigen Wohngefühl verschmelzen.
The owners made a conscious decision in favour of a new building in order to better meet their needs. Under the direction of architect Markus Mucha, a masterpiece was created that not only impresses with its modern elegance, but also with its functional sophistication. The eye is immediately drawn to the spacious,
frameless glass front, which allows the living area on the ground floor to merge seamlessly with the surrounding landscape. The floor-to-ceiling glazing floods the interior with bright light and offers an unrivalled view of the characteristic landscape of the Swabian Alb.
The striking, asymmetrical kitchen is particularly eye-catching on entering the house, creating an elegant contrast with a dark, cantilevered counter facing the dining area. The kitchen is given a special touch by the option of concealing the sink behind a folding wall, which creates a pleasant bar atmosphere.
The highlight, however, is the generous glazing, which can be opened across a width of 6 metres and creates a flowing transition between the interior and exterior.
The rear of the house is characterised by staggered glass façades framed by a stone bracket, giving the building a calm and elegant atmosphere. The clear, linear design of the rear façade contrasts with the curved entrance façade of the house and the organic layout of the garden, giving the building a timeless elegance and creating a harmonious overall impression.
